Knight Frederick Roberts

It is with great sadness that the Provincial Priory reports the passing of Knight Frederick Roberts
Bro Frederick Roberts was initiated into Freemasonry in Buddle Lodge No 3937 in May 1979.
He later joined Farne Lodge No 5228 and was, for a period, a member of the Northumbrian Masters Lodge No 3477.
In the Royal Arch he was exalted in Howdon Panns Chapter No 5315 in 1983.
He acted as Master of Buddle in 1986 and First Principal of Howdon Panns in 1992 and as a reward for his service he was promoted to Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden in Provincial Grand Lodge in 2011 and Past Provincial Grand Scribe Nehemiah in 2003.
He was installed a Knight in our Order in Templar Segedunum Preceptory No 586 in August 2003 but did not take senior office.
In other Orders he was, for a time a member of Farne Mark Lodge No 1540 and Farne Lodge of Royal Ark Mariners No 1540.
His passing was mourned by all his Brother Knights in the Provincial Priory of Northumberland.
