Northanhymbre Preceptory Hits The Back Of The Net With Charitable Donation

A North East based charity has been assisted with their essential work thanks to a combined charitable donation of

£5531

from a number of different Masonic units and groups within the Province.

This magnificent donation came about after Em KT Peter Scott, the Eminent Preceptor of Northanhymbre Preceptory No.590, which meets at Shiremoor Masonic Building, had been undergoing treatment for some considerable time, and requested that a donation be made from the Northumberland Mark Benevolent Fund, to purchase 4 new computers to the tune of £4231, which was duly honoured, as he is also the reigning Master of Backworth Mark Lodge No.1189.

In addition to this Peter donated £450, which he raised himself, and donations of £250 were also received from Northamhymbre Preceptory, Bretwalda Lodge No.9007, his Craft Lodge, the Widows Sons, and £100 from Lindisfarne Lodge No.2762.

The Provincial Priory of Northumberland wishes Peter all the best for the future and congratulates Northanhymbre Preceptory on participating in this wonderful initiative.
